As cyberspace has become an important component of the international system, rival ideologies about cybersecurity and exercise of power in cyberspace require us to understand how cybersecurity is harnessed in service to various countries’ national interests and strategies. It’s vital that we bring sound policy analysis to our understanding of how cyber is remaking the international system, and what will be the role of our country and its partners and allies- in sustaining our interests in that system.
