Takayuki Kobayashi

Takayuki Kobayashi is currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives in Japan, to which he has been elected to four times. He sits on the Special Committee on Consumer Affairs and is the Chairperson of the Research Commission on Intellectual Property Strategy. In 2021 Kobayashi was the Economic Security Minister as well as the Science and Technology Minister and the Space Policy Minister. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Tokyo and later the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
