Marcus D. Jadotte has been Google Cloud’s Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Policy since August 2022. Marcus leads the Cloud division of Google’s work with governments globally and oversees its policy advocacy. He joined Google after more than 20 years as a strategic advisor and leading teams at major companies in the defense and transportation sectors.
Prior to joining Google Cloud, Marcus served as SVP of Government Relations at Crowley Maritime, spearheading advocacy for laws and regulations that support the domestic maritime industry. Previously, he served as Vice President, Federal Government Relations at Raytheon/United Technologies, and Vice President, Public Affairs at AAR Corp, a worldwide aviation services provider to commercial and government customers
Marcus served as President Obama’s Assistant Secretary for Industry & Analysis for the International Trade Administration in the U.S. Department of Commerce from 2014 to 2016. In this capacity, he was the primary liaison with U.S. industry and trade associations to help address industry concerns and support American competitiveness, helping to grow US business presence globally.
