Jorge Klor de Alva
Advisory Council Member
President, Nexus Research and Policy Center
The nation has long been served by think tanks advocating for foreign and domestic policies that can help safeguard the security of our nation and that of other democracies. More recently the technology sector has begun to turn its attention to its role as a proponent of similar policies. But not until the establishment of the Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy have statecraft and technological expertise been brought together as tools with which to think through and advocate for strategies that can lead to a more secure future for the nation and the free world. This melding of politics and technology could not be timelier. It is an honor to serve on the advisory council of a center with such a noble cause and with such a committed team of present and former leaders in government, technology, academia, and the private sector.
