Currently Divisional Dean of the School of Computing at George Mason University, he has led large-scale strategic initiatives to grow enrollment, launch multidisciplinary programs, and strengthen ties with industry in areas such as cyber-physical systems, AI, and digital innovation. As former Division Director for Computer and Network Systems at the National Science Foundation, he oversaw a $240M portfolio, built landmark public–private partnerships with global technology companies, and drove national programs in cybersecurity, smart communities, broadband, and workforce development. With decades of experience as a professor, department head, and research leader, Dr. Singh has a proven record of shaping technology policy, advancing research agendas, and fostering collaborations that bridge government, academia, and industry to deliver impactful, future-ready innovation.
