Charity Wallace

Charity Wallace, founder and president of Wallace Global Impact, is a strategic, mission-driven, and pioneering executive leader with expertise in social impact, foreign policy, global development and women’s empowerment. She combines her expertise and experience to drive innovative, effective solutions working with corporations, individuals, non-profits, and foundations. She builds cross-sector partnerships that addressed complex global issues, and brings a track-record of high-level success and her robust network to address and solve pressing and complex global issues.

She most recently served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director at the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation, overseeing the team working to cultivate private sector investment in projects across strategic regions and sectors and projects that empower women and applied a gender lens across DFC’s investment portfolio.

Wallace was the founding Vice President of the Global Women’s Initiatives at the Bush Institute, developing, launching, and leading their women’s initiatives, and served as Senior Advisor and Chief of Staff to Laura Bush. She served in Bush Administration for all eight years, most notably as Director of Advance for the First Lady and Deputy Chief of Protocol of the United States.

She earned her master’s degree in international relations from the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and serves on the Boards of USA for UNHCR, Akola Academy, and the School of Public Policy at Pepperdine University, and the Advisory Boards of All in Together, 4Word and the Women’s Democracy Network at IRI.
