Founder of Entropy Economics LLC

Bret Swanson is founder of the technology research firm Entropy Economics, which advises investors and firms across the information economy. In 2013, he helped launch the technology policy program at the American Enterprise Institute, where he is a nonresident senior fellow. Swanson also is chairman of the Indiana Public Retirement System (INPRS), the state’s largest pension fund. His analysis can often be found in The Wall Street Journal and many other outlets. Swanson studied economics at Princeton University and now lives with his wife and four children in Zionsville, Indiana.
