Dr. Anna Dolidze has over 20 years of professional experience in human rights, rule of law and judiciary, as well as defence, security, geopolitics and strategy, including time spent on field in post war situations, frontline of human rights movements and election campaigns.
Dr. Dolidze has been a Deputy Minister of Defence of Republic of Georgia and the Chief Lawyer of the President of Georgia. In 2018, the President of Georgia Appointed Dr. Dolidze as a Member of the High Council of Judiciary, where she served till 2020. She has been actively engaged in politics in Republic of Georgia.
Dr. Anna Dolidze was recognized as one of the twelve women across the globe as Women on the Barricades by the Norwegian Helsinki Committee, as a Young European Leader by the Atlantick Brucke, Germany and the Global Woman Leader 2023 by the Middle East Institute for Excellence. She testified before the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission of the US Congress in 2012.
Dr. Dolidze is an author of four books, an editor of the forthcoming book on policing by Springer (2024) as well as an author of the forthcoming book on Speaking the Language of International Law: Russia as a Non-Native Speaker (forthcoming Edward Elgar, 2024).
Dr. Dolidze has been published and quoted in leading current affairs media including New York Times, Washington Post, BBC, Sunday Times, the National Interest, Nikkei, etc. She has received her Doctorate from Cornell University, Masters Degree from Leiden University, and BA from Tbilisi State University (all on scholarship).
