This week, the Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue hosted a series of public and private engagements with international leaders attending the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, as well as with members of Congress in Washington, DC. During these briefings with senior government officials, business executives, and civil society leaders, the Krach Institute delegation, headed by co-founders Keith Krach and Purdue President Mung Chiang, as well as Michelle Giuda, the Institute’s CEO, explored the economic, scientific, and security benefits of accelerating the innovation, deployment, and adoption of trusted technologies.

Keith Krach and Amb. Alexander Yui Discuss Taiwan’s Trusted Brand at Concordia Summit:

Taiwan’s Ambassador Alexander Tah-ray Yui joined our Chairman Keith Krach at the 2024 Concordia Annual Summit to discuss Taiwan’s leading role in semiconductor manufacturing, the cross-strait security landscape, elevating Taiwan’s international standing, and advancing freedom through trusted technology.

Meeting with the Romanian Delegation

Chairman Keith Krach, CEO Michelle Giuda, and Chief Business Officer Hiro Rodriguez discussed Romania’s implementation of trusted technology in its infrastructure with Valeriu Zgonea, Pavel Popescu, and Alexandru Cozma of ANCOM, Romania’s National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications.

Meeting with the Singapore Delegation

Chairman Keith Krach, CEO Michelle Giuda, and Senior Advisor Len Khodorkovsky met with the Chief Steward of Singapore’s National Environment Agency Luke Goh, First Secretary of the Permanent Mission of Singapore to the UN Dhivya Rajandran, and their diplomatic team to explore the adoption of trusted tech in Singapore.

Meeting with the UK Delegation

Chairman Keith Krach, CEO Michelle Giuda, and Senior Advisor Len Khodorkovsky met with Director General of the UK Department for Science, Innovation and Technology Emran Mian, Prime Minister’s Deputy Representative for the AI Safety Summit Chris Jones, and Minister Counsellor for Trade and Global Issues at the UK embassy in Washington Mungo Woodifield. The group saw many opportunities to build on the US-UK Special Relationship.

Krach Institute –OpenPolicy Reception

Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue partnered with OpenPolicy to host an intimate gathering of tech, business, and policy leaders. Chairman Keith Krach, CEO Michelle Giuda, and Purdue University President Mung Chiang engaged with fellow members of the Global Trusted Tech Network about the role of critical technologies and tech diplomacy in building a safer, freer, and more prosperous future.

Meetings on Capitol Hill

Chairman Keith Krach and Account Executive Carter Krach met with Honorary Co-Chairs of the Krach Institute’s Global Trusted Tech Commission Senators Tom Cotton and Joni Ernst to brief them on the forthcoming announcement of the Commission’s recommendations to secure critical and emerging technologies.
