Michelle Powers Keegan

As Chief Revenue Officer, Keegan is responsible for driving the Krach Institute’s growth and integration of all revenue generation processes. The addition of Keegan to the Institute’s leadership team comes as the organization is poised for rapid growth. Earlier this year, the Krach Institute unveiled its Tech Diplomacy Academy, the world’s first and only online education platform revolutionizing how government, business, and citizen leaders are trained at scale about critical and emerging technologies. The U.S. State Department has already adopted the platform to train key personnel.

With over two decades of experience leading nonprofit revenue generation, fundraising and strategic partnerships, Keegan brings a proven track record of driving exponential growth for mission-driven, high-impact organizations, having raised more than $350 million over the course of her career. Since 2019, Keegan has served as Chief Development Officer at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute. In her previous role as Chief Development Officer at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS), she ran the largest campaign in CSIS history, raising $75 million, and as Director of Development at Ford’s Theatre, she raised more than $50 million for the most comprehensive renovation effort in its history.

In her role, Keegan will also support the Global Tech Security Commission, created by The Krach Institute in response to the bipartisan call from Congress to secure critical and emerging technologies. Co-chaired by the Institute’s co-founder Keith Krach and former President of Estonia Kersti Kaljulaid, the Commission comprises a global network of more than 200 public- and private-sector experts generating strategic and executable recommendations to advance freedom through trusted technology in the face of increasing authoritarian threats.
