Tech Trust Standards

In business, companies cooperate to develop industry standards. This sets the rules of the ballgame. In creating the Clean Network, Keith Krach and his State Department team created a set of trust standards which established requirements to participate in members’ markets.

Companies or countries that steal intellectual property, use slave labor, abuse the environment or fail to be transparent can choose to change their behavior or be shut out of the market.

In the case of the Clean Network, adherence to a shared trust standard ultimately shut China and Huawei out of two-thirds of the global market for telecommunications.
