Funding

Leveraging government aid and funding programs can multiply investment and participation in key tech sectors.

For example, the US International Development and Finance Corporation (DFC) invests $billions every year to fuel growth in developing countries. Leveraging this kind of investment to help develop and deploy trusted technologies helps maximize the value of US development dollars.

Similarly, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), with a budget of over $27 billion, is one of the largest official aid agencies in the world and accounts for more than half of all U.S. foreign assistance—the highest in the world in absolute dollar terms. USAID funds could be leveraged to fund the development and deployment of trusted technologies world-wide.
