I think, thinking around corners. So there’s looking at trends and anticipating what could be coming down the road so that we can make informed decisions about the paths that we want to take and the actions we want to move forward today.

I think that’s so critical. You have to be able to see around the corners, otherwise you’re reacting and not being proactive.

In order to look around corners and identify trends and feel how the winds are shifting, I think you really have to have a diverse team, both diverse in terms of experiences and perspectives, because people depending on what their lenses are, they will see different things.
And you have to bring that all together in order to be the most effective at thinking about, you know, these are the challenges that we may be facing one, two, three years down the road, and so here are the types of actions that we should be taking today.
