What strategies or techniques do you use to enhance and maintain employee engagement?

Well, we’ve created a whole host of architectures in Coupa to drive engagement. First of all, we have a centralized portal called The Source where there’s a whole host of interactions happening on it on an hourly basis; people posting ideas, people sharing ideas, people exchanging information, finding one another, inviting each other to things. We have weekly, happy hours and company quizzes and a whole host of great initiatives as part of our Coupa Cares Program where we give back and we get to know one another and our differences as human beings.
So we’ve created this whole—and that’s just some of the many architectures within Coupa that allow for this personal and professional self-expression of employees. And I think, you know, a large portion of folks that I work with here do feel joyous in their daily lives, they don’t feel like they’re doing it for a paycheck, they’re doing it because they get to be themselves and their gifts are being applied to our common cause. So, I’m very proud of that. And it’s a very delicate thing, but a thing that I invest in on an ongoing basis to continue to foster and kind of cultivate.
