How many prominent people did you get on your site offering to make a Cameo that very first day you went live, and did you get any customers?

We had one. We launched with one person, his name was Cassius Marsh of the Seattle Seahawks, he was a backup player, he was the only person that would say yes to us at the beginning. When we launched the site very embarrassingly, we had felt—Cash had about 70,000 followers on Twitter and we had pretty deep conviction that if he sent a tweet with that original video that I was just describing, people would want their own version of it.
So, we sent the tweet out, we had Google analytics set up, I was in Scottsdale trying to get the second person on, the tweet went out and nobody came. So, it seemed like it was over before it all began, and then I saw that I got a DM on Twitter.
And on Twitter, this guy goes, “Hey, Cassius Marsh is my daughter’s favorite NFL player, her favorite Seahawks player. Her birthday’s coming up on Thursday, I’m trying to book for her birthday but your payment processor’s not working.” So I go, “Don’t worry about it, tell me what to say, I’ll call him up, we’ll make it happen.” Then about an hour or two hours later, this dad records the video of his daughter watching the Cameo and she was so happy, she started crying. And at that moment, I knew we had something.
