Risky Business

It doesn't matter what other people think that don't know. Or what other people read. I mean, I had a horrible thing happen to me from the general public during that time. And what you have to know is that it really matters about people who love you and really know what they think of you. Nothing else matters... And what you think of yourself. So I think getting really grounded and what's important is really important to keep your head on through life. And the other thing is, I take risks. When you take risks, you're putting yourself out there, you put yourself out there, you're going to get slapped around. So, you know, it's just going to happen. But I feel better for taking those risks. So I feel I'm more enriched as a person. I'm a happier person. I'm not disgruntled. I'm not sitting there thinking, oh, I wish I would have. I'm like, I did it. And most of it was darn good. And that and the nice thing is about The RealReal, I've also given other people a platform for taking risks, for doing new things and changing their lifestyle because we went public. So allowing them to have some personal wealth at a young age. And I'm also using some of the money I've made at Pets to put back into Purdue for scholarships.So, I mean, it's sort of like all of this goodness comes out of taking risks, not taking risks that you can pretty much.... Life is still uncertain as we know. So why not just put yourself out there, it's really worth it.
