Get Real Still

Actually in those moments of uncertainty, being unsure... not having a fall back, that's when I learned how to get real still. And what that lesson has showed me, and it's also very aligned with my faith, is that when I can get still, I can hone in to that inner voice to give me calmness, but also guidance about, what is possible, what is the plan that you need to make. Because you can create a lot of noise around you and not get still. And then you're still kind of going in that circle.

So, you just need to kind of sit down and journal a bit and, walk and, use your love for being athletic, to find your own self again and figure out what that's going to look like in this new place in space.

So for me, my lesson was, to be still. To journal. To really do a lot of reflection. To also do the work. Things are also not just going to come to you out of out of the blue, like you know I needed to grind to build that network. Network was important to me. Every person I met, I asked them to introduce me to two more people so that I could also not only build my network, but I needed to find a job. Right. My work had always been a part of me and I didn't want to go to any work. I had just left this amazing organization. Two years prior, I left AT&T, this great paying job, so that probably I could have transferred my job back if I was still there. So I wanted to go somewhere that would speak to my passion and really give me an exciting next chapter for this new journey in my life.
