Noble Cause

I know you're a big believer in transformational leadership. So I wanted to start off by asking how would you define transformational leadership.

I think it's challenging the status quo, and inspiring, unifying, and mobilizing a team of people, ideally a high performance team to achieve a noble cause that will leave a profound and long lasting impact.

What are some of the reasons you believe transformation leadership is so important today?

Well, I think these days, there's a number of factors. One is just the rate of change, everything is just accelerating. A lot of that is driven by technology. I think another reason, too, is there seems to be a bifurcation of thoughts, issues these days. So in terms of unifying and creating a North Star in terms of achieving, you know, these noble causes is really, really important. And then I also think there's existential threats out there in this world by authoritarian regimes. We need transformational leaders now more than ever.
