The Clean Network team established a comprehensive set of quantifiable metrics to measure program performance. In every dimension, the Clean Network over-achieved against its goals.
The growth of the Clean Network dramatically reduced Huawei’s 5G contracts and market cap. At the same time, Nokia and Ericsson contracts and market caps saw stunning growth.

Telefónica states in its Digital Manifesto that security is paramount, and its CEO and Chairman José María Álvarez Pallete López recently declared, “Telefónica is proud to be a 5G Clean Path company. Telefónica Spain and O2 (UK) are fully clean networks, and Telefónica Deutschland (Germany) and Vivo (Brazil) will be in the near future without equipment from any untrusted vendors.”
CEO Jun Sawada of Japan s NTT states , “The safety and security of our customers and their personal information is our top priority. In this context, the statement by US government regarding 5G Clean Network is consistent with our position. That is why we are glad to be appreciated as a 5G Clean Telecommunications company and are committed to only using trusted vendors in our 5G networks in Japan and as we expand our business around the world”
Oracle CEO Safra Catz said, “Oracle shares the vision of secure, trusted and resilient 5G applications and networks. Grounded in our commitment to develop the most secure telecommunications and infrastructure products and services for our customers, we are proud to support the Clean Network initiative and provide Clean Network solutions.”
Cisco Chairman and CEO Chuck Robbins said, “Cisco supports a fair, free, and open Internet. After all, our founding mission is to connect everyone and everything. Human rights have long been integrated into how Cisco works with our trusted supply chain partners as we build the next generation of intelligent, intuitive, secure advanced wired and wireless networks, including Optical, 5G and Wi Fi 6 networks. The Clean Network Initiative is bringing needed attention to these issues.”

Clean Network and the Future of Global Technology Competition
“The Clean Network’s effort to create a united economic front is to China what George Kennan’s “long telegram” of 1946 was to the Soviet Union. It harnessed the power of Metcalfe’s Law to build a network of nations to counter China – a notable change in tone after years in which it pursued a og-it-alone, “America First” strategy”.
President Biden wrote that the way to confront China is by forming a “united front” with allies. “When we join with fellow democracies, our strength more than doubles. China can’t afford to ignore more than half the global economy.” Sec State Blinken added “when we’re working with our allies it’s a 50 or 60% of GDP. That’s a lot more weight and a lot harder for China to ignore. China sees alliances as a core strength for the United States, something they don’t share and enjoy.”
“Since March 2020, Krach’s team has actually executed on that strategy by defeating the Communist China’s 5G masterplan and in the process, exposed the CCP’s biggest weakness – trust.” The Clean Network boasts 60 Clean Countries, representing 66% of the world’s GDP, 200 Clean Telcos and host of industry-leading Clean Companies.

The American Dream Takes on China Inc.
Part 1: The 5G Trifecta
This story is fundamentally about three things: the American Dream taking on China Inc., a Silicon Valley veteran beating Huawei, and how trust is the Key to Defeating the CCP. Under the leadership of Keith Krach, then Under Secretary of State, China s tech giant Huawei s ambition to take over the global 5G communications was shattered in a spectacular way by a patriotic team of Silicon Valley entrepreneurs. In the process, they proved that China Inc. is beatable and exposed its biggest weakness — lack of trust. The results of those efforts are stunning.
