Global Professionals Gain Access to World’s First Tech Diplomacy Courses,
Equipping Them with the Knowledge to Navigate the Intersection of Technology, Business, and National Security
Washington, D.C. — The Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue announced today a partnership with LinkedIn Learning, one of the world’s largest professional education platforms, to offer courses from the Institute’s Tech Diplomacy Academy to a global network of 27 million learners. Through this collaboration, the Tech Diplomacy Academy will be the first provider of tech diplomacy content on LinkedIn Learning, educating global professionals on key subjects at the intersection of technology, business and national security.
The Tech Diplomacy Academy is the world’s first and largest online education platform dedicated to training government, business, technology and citizen leaders at scale about critical and emerging technologies, and how to compete and lead in a contested technology and geopolitical landscape. The Tech Diplomacy Academy is being used by a growing roster of U.S. and allied organizations, including the U.S. Department of State, the U.S. Department of Commerce, NATO’s Defense Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (DIANA) and more. A curated selection of the Academy’s online courses are currently available directly through LinkedIn Learning, featuring topics such as AI, cybersecurity, semiconductors, 5G and quantum computing. These one-hour, self-paced courses, adapted exclusively for the LinkedIn platform, offer a streamlined experience and credentialing through LinkedIn Learning. Learners also have access to the full Tech Diplomacy Academy curriculum and are able to pursue additional certification.
“This partnership is about scale and helping people understand how technologies like AI, quantum, and semiconductors are shaping power, security, and freedom,” said Michelle Giuda, CEO of the Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue. “Technology must advance freedom. LinkedIn Learning helps us put that knowledge in the hands of millions worldwide.”
The Krach Institute-LinkedIn Learning partnership distinguishes the Tech Diplomacy Academy as a first mover in training the global workforce on today’s most consequential technological issues. Built on the engineering leadership of Purdue University, the Academy is the only provider of tech diplomacy courses on the LinkedIn Learning platform and leads a new category of professional learning focused on equipping decision makers and rising leaders in a rapidly evolving geopolitical and technological landscape.
